πŸ“‹ Imagine life as a game in which you are juggling some five balls in the air. You name them – work, family, health, friends and spirit … and you’re keeping all of these in the air.

You will soon understand that work is a rubber ball. If you drop it, it will bounce back. But the other four balls – family, health, friends and spirit – are made of glass. If you drop one of these, they will be irrevocably scuffed, marked, nicked, damaged or even shattered. They will never be the same.

πŸ’¬ Take your time. Rethink. And reconsider what you should really prioritize.

πŸ”— You’re not indispensable (except when you are) – Chris Yeh

πŸ“‹ You cannot change a pandemic but you can change the way you think about things.

πŸ’¬ If we want to live life well, we really need to understand we can only control our actions, not the outcomes. No matter how hard we plan, life always seem to have its own plans for us. That’s why taking actions rather than worrying about outcomes is the best philosophy to live to the fullest.

πŸ”— A Stoic’s guide to Controlling your emotions – Courier

πŸ“‹ Success involves less of winning and more of learning.
Less of destination and more of journey.
Destination is momentary while journey is lasting.
In the end, experiences matter more than achievements.
That’s why journey is the true reward.

πŸ’¬ Journey matters more than anything. Neither success nor failure, it’s experience that matters in the end and throughout life.

πŸ”— Let Your Failures Rock! – Vishnu Goyal

πŸ“‹ It is OK to disappoint people. It is OK to say, β€œNo, I am not available for the foreseeable future.”

πŸ’¬ Only when you say no to less important things, you can say yes to more important and joyful things in life.

πŸ”— It’s OK to Say No to More Work – The New York Times

πŸ“‹ Uber β€œhas decreased US alcohol-related traffic fatalities by 6.1% and reduced total US traffic fatalities by 4.0%.”

πŸ’¬ To know this fact is one more reason for you and me to believe in technology and do our bit to push technology further. Isn’t it?

πŸ”— How Uber and Lyft Can Save Lives – The Wall Street Journal

πŸ“‹ If information is not going to affect your day to day decision making or make you a more intelligent, well rounded person, then it’s useless.

πŸ’¬ Internet and online world have brought us so much that we can spend our lifetime consuming content. A question to ask before spending time on any piece of that: “Is it adding any value to my work or life?” If the answer is no, what’s the point?

πŸ”— The News is a Waste of Your Time – Nat Eliason
